Membranes in fuel cells contain a large number of small holes at a high percentage open area. Typically 20 µm holes in 100 µm thick stainless steel are drilled at a 45-degree angle. Because the holes are so closely packed, the high quality of the holes is essential. The Sirius 1000 is capable of providing the required quality. |
