Fuel cell

Membranes in fuel cells contain a large number of small holes at a high percentage open area. Typically 20 µm holes in 100 µm thick stainless steel are drilled at a 45-degree angle. Because the holes are so closely packed, the high quality of the holes is essential. The Sirius 1000 is capable of providing the required quality.

Other

Of course there are many more possible applications for this laser system, for example in automotive:

-

Hole drilling in diesel injection nozzles

-

Conditioning of cylinder walls
