NCLR’s core business is the excimer laser technology, of which three aspects are highlighted here.

Sirius 1000

NCLR’s base product is the high power excimer laser with an unsurpassed output of 1000 Watt, ultraviolet light, together with an excellent beam quality. The high power excimer laser system Sirius 1000 has proven to be a very suitable tool for material processing of a wide variety of materials.

Beam handling

The high power of the laser and the excellent beam quality allow the application of proprietary holographic beam splitting technology, enabling a beam utilization factor of over 90%. Such beam handling optical systems are considered to be a secondary product in NCLR’s excimer technology.

Material processing

NCLR develops recipes for material processing given the knowledge and the performance of the laser and beam handling systems. The high average output power, the high beam utilization factor and the highly efficient material processing results in processing speeds capable of industrial scale material processing. Laser processing recipes have been developed for drilling in a large variety of materials such as metals, carbon fiber composites, glass fiber composites, fiber reinforced metals and ceramic coated metals.
